The Volkswagen Atlas is a sophisticated seven-passenger SUV. To give shoppers even more options, Volkswagen is now introducing an Atlas Cross Sport version with a striking design and athletic stance.
“The Cross Sport allows you to show up — with style, grace, and elegance — without showing off,” said Scott Keogh, CEO, Volkswagen of America. “It really addresses the sweet spot of what Americans are looking for.”
Compared to the standard Atlas, the Cross Sport is 2.8 inches shorter and 2.3 inches lower. This gives the Cross Sport a dramatically raked rear design. Combined with the available 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels and unique rear bumper, the Cross Sport has a dynamic look that will turn heads wherever it goes.
Inside, the Cross Sport has room for up to five passengers. The second row can slide to give passengers more space if they want it. Rear passengers can enjoy up to 40.4 inches of legroom. Behind the second row, there is 40.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold down the second row and this opens up the cargo area to 77.8 cubic feet.
The Cross Sport interior design is enhanced with a redesigned steering wheel and available two-tone inserts on the seats and door panels. You can also choose from available features like a Fender® Premium Audio System.
